The Tax Center of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta has once again achieved a proud accomplishment. In 2025, the UPNVY Tax Center received the Tax Edu Award 2025 from the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The prestigious award was presented directly by the Head of Kanwil DJP DIY, Mrs. Erna Sulistyowati, to the Head of UPNVY Tax Center, Mrs. Indah Kartika Sandhi, S.E., M.Acc., Ak. The awarding ceremony took place at the Kanwil DJP DIY office and was attended by the academic community as well as representatives from various institutions.

This award stands as a testament to the UPNVY Tax Center’s significant contribution in promoting tax literacy and education, particularly among students and the wider community. Through a series of programs such as outreach activities, training, and mentoring, the UPNVY Tax Center has consistently supported the government’s efforts in building stronger and more sustainable tax awareness.

The Tax Edu Award 2025 also serves as an encouragement for the UPNVY Tax Center to further expand its strategic role as a partner of DJP in nurturing a young generation that is tax-literate and capable of contributing to national development through compliance and awareness in taxation.
